RiverWalk is Calgary’s gift to itself: the 4km green promenade will extend from Chinatown all the way to Stampede Park, making Calgary a riverfront city for the first time since its founding. RiverWalk connects neighbourhoods and returns the banks of the Bow and the Elbow rivers to Calgarians.

From its start near the Centre Street Bridge in Chinatown, RiverWalk meanders along the Bow River through East Village to the confluence of the Elbow River. Future phases will follow the river south toward Stampede Park and Lindsay Park.
